Description Seeking a full time Emergency Medicine Trained Physician to join a strong staff just outside of Manhattan in Westchester County. The Emergency Department with Fast Track. Volume 23k 12 Hour Shifts ER Scribes Compensation is hourly with a night differential Must be residency trained in EM EMR experience required. Currently using Allscripts and changing to EPIC Must be ABEM certified. No alternative boards Schedule: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. 12/12's per month, with 4 to 6 night shifts per month No trauma designation but get "walk-in" trauma Position Type: Employed by Excel Emergency Services of the Hudson Valley (EHV) Work Site(s): Montefiore Mt. Vernon Hospital Department has 14 bed capacity with fast track. ED volume is currently 24,000 patients per year. No trauma designation but get "walk-in" trauma. cases are Level 3, 4, or 5: belly ache, back ache, diabetes, COPD, high blood pressure, CHF. PA Coverage as follows: 8am to 8pm, 1pm-1am M-F; 10am-10pm Sat-Sun. Schedule: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. All physicians work twelve hour shifts for 12 shifts per month, with 4 to 6 night shifts per month. ER Scribes. Call Schedule: No call. Training Requirements: Must be residency trained in EM (3 or 4 year residency). No IM or FM residency or boards are accepted. Must be ABEM certified. No alternative boards. Experience Requirements: EMR experience required. Currently using Allscripts and changing to EPIC in 2018. New grads welcome. Certification Requirements: B/E or B/C. License Requirements: NY state license in progress or active. Job Duties: Subspecialty support includes: Pulmonology, Critical Care, Cardiology, GI, Neurology, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Psychiatry (in house 24/7), Radiology (PACS, 24/7 readings), Dialysis, Nephrology, Podiatry, IM Residency Program (in house 24/7, ER rotations). Compensation is $190 per hour (days) and $210 per hour (nights). Occurrence Malpractice with 2.3 / 6.9 million coverage (paid). Leadership track available for interested candidates includes ACEP Leadership Academy training / certification.
