Internal Medicine opportunity in Eastern Colorado. This would be a Hospital employed, Hospitalist and outpatient medicine position. When doing inpatient medicine they will be the hospitalist. Ideally a candidate who could and would do Pulmonology although not required. A candidate could do 60% Pulmonology and 40% Internal Medicine. ICU coverage required. Seeing about 12 patients a day for average patient load. The hospital has around 2000 OP visits/month. The number of patients each doc is expected to see each day in the clinic is 20-24. We get around 5 admits per day. The load at night is not usually very high. EMR is being utilized. Call is 1:6.
